SUMMARY:13. Workshop Software-Reengineering
DESCRIPTION:der GI-Fachgruppe Software-Reengineering (SRE) \n\nBad-Honnef 0
 2.-04. Mai 2011\n\n\n\n Aktuell (Apr 27 2011) WSR 2011
Proceedings online (updated on May 02) (Apr 05 2011) Registration is op
en until April 27th (Feb 17 2011) Call for Papers available. Wor
kshop Software-Reengineering Die Workshops Software-Reengineering (WSR)
entrale deutschsprachige Reengineering-Konferenz etabliert.
 n\n\n\nCall for Papers\n\nGoals of the Workshop\n\nSoftware Reengineering c
omprises all activities that aim at examination and alteration of a softwar
e system to reconstitute it in a new form. The main goal of the Workshop S
oftware Reengineering (WSR) is to bring together different working groups f
rom academia and industry that work in the fields of software reengineering
and maintenance. Everyone working in this field is invited to present his
/her current activities or results. Practitioners' experience reports are a
s welcome as scientific projects and results. Possible topics include (but
are not limited to):\n\n Methods and process models Methods and model
s for software reengineering Process models for software renovation, migr
ation, and maintenance Embedding reengineering activities into software d
evelopment \n\n 	 Reengineering tools Tools for program comprehensi
on, redocumentation, software visualization, static and dynamic program ana
lysis, software test, software maintenance, program transformation Intero
perability between software reengineering and development tools Softwa
re migration Migration strategies and transformation approaches Migra
tion to service-oriented architectures (SOA) Migration to product line ar
 chitectures Architecture reengineering Architecture reconstruction
, assessment, migration Software quality Approaches for assessing
software quality Improving software quality by reengineering Economi
cal aspects of reengineering Organizational aspects of reengineering pr
ojects Cost-effectiveness analysis of reengineering Quality monitoring
of reengineering actions Effort estimation for reengineering projects
Experience reports Experience reports about maintenance activities, m
igration and reengineering projects \n\nSubmissions\n\nSubmissions may
consist of extended abstracts of up to two pages. They may be written in En
glish or German. Please use the "Softwaretechnik Trends" format. Links to t

\n\nPlease submit your PDF document using EasyChair at http://www.easychair
.org/conferences/?conf=wsr2011.\n\nTool Demos\n\nYou are invited to demonst
rate your software reengineering tool. Please register your tool demo, givi
ng the name, manufacturer, and a short description (3 sentences) by sending
an email to wsr at uni-koblenz.de. Deadline is 22 April 2011. In case of
too many registrations, the organizers will have to perform a selection.\n\
nAnnual Meeting of SRE Special Interest Group Members\n\nThe yearly meeting
of the SRE special interest group will also take place during the workshop
.\n\nThe workshop will take place in the "Physikzentrum" in Bad Honnef from
  2 till 4 May 2011.\n\nImportant Dates\n\n Extended abstract submission: 1
