 -Fachgruppe Software-Reengineering.\n\n\n\n Der Wor
kshop findet in Kooperation mit der Fachgruppe Software-Produktmanagement (
WI-PrdM) der Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) statt. \n\n\n\nCall
for Papers\n\nGoals of the Workshop\n\nSoftware Reengineering comprises all
activities that aim at examination and alteration of software systems to r
econstitute them in a new form. In a broader sense it also covers maintenan
ce and evolution of software systems. The main goal of the Workshop Softwa
re Reengineering (WSR) is to bring together different working groups from a
cademia and industry that work in the fields of software reengineering and
maintenance. Everyone working in this field is invited to present his/her
current activities or results. Practitioners' experience reports are as wel
come as reports on scientific projects and results. Possible topics includ
e (but are not limited to):\n\n Methods and process models Methods and
models for software reengineering and maintenance Process models for sof
tware renovation, migration, and maintenance Embedding reengineering acti
vities into software development Reengineering tools Tools for pro
gram comprehension, redocumentation, software visualization, static and dyn
amic program analysis, software testing, software maintenance, and program
transformation Interoperability between software reengineering and develo
pment tools Software migration Migration strategies and transformatio
n approaches Migration to service-oriented architectures (SOA) Migrat
ion to product line architectures Architecture reengineering Archi
tecture reconstruction, assessment, migration Roadmaps for software and d
ata architectures Reengineering for the transitions in Enterprise Archite
cture Software Quality Quality criteria on maintainability and tes
tability Estimation and certification of software systems for maintainabi
lity Economical aspects of reengineering Organizational aspects of
reengineering projects Business value analysis of reengineering proposit
ions Quality monitoring of reengineering actions Effort estimation for
reengineering projects Experience reports Experience reports on ma
intenance activities, migration and reengineering projects Empirical stud
ies on successful tool usage and maintenance benefits \n\nDesign for Fu
ture 2010\n\nThe 2nd Workshop of the GI working group "Long-living software
systems (L2S2)" will take place as part of the WSR. It is entitled "Design
for Future 2010". More information on this workshop can be found at akl2s
 2.ipd.kit.edu/veranstaltungen/dff2010/\n\nSubmissions\n\nSubmissions may co
nsist of extended abstracts of up to two pages. They may be written in Engl
ish or German. Please use the "Softwaretechnik Trends" format. Workshop lan
guage is german, but english spoken presentations are allowed as well.\n\nL
inks to templates:\n\n LaTeX paper template LaTeX style file Word paper
template \n\nPlease submit your PDF document using EasyChair: http://www.ea
 sychair.org/conferences/?conf=wsr2010\n\nTool demos\n\nYou are invited to d
emonstrate your software reengineering tool. Please register your tool demo
, giving the name, manufacturer, and a short description (3 sentences) by s
ending an email to wsr at uni-koblenz.de. Deadline is April 23, 2010.\n\nIn
case of too many registrations, the organizers will have to perform a sele
ction.\n\nMeeting of SRE special interest group members\n\nThe yearly meeti
ng of the SRE special interest group will also take place during the worksh
op. This year, a new board has to be elected.\n\nThis SRE meeting is schedu
led for Monday, May 3, 2010, at 17:30.\n\nImportant Dates\n\n Extended abs
tract submission: April  9, 2010 Notification of acceptance: April 16, 201
